Our elite performance academy has a track record of helping players reach their potential. We have had success in signing athletes with NCAA indoor programs such as the University of Miami, Jacksonville State University, Florida Gulf Coast, Stetson University, University of North Florida, and State College of Florida.
Melissa began playing volleyball in 1999 at the age of 11. She played for Orlando Volleyball Academy (OVA) 12U through 18U, as a Libero and Setter. In 2006, Melissa graduated from Winter Park High School with two Florida State Championships under her belt as a Libero; specifically, in 2004 she assisted in leading Winter Park to an undefeated season. Melissa ended her high school career playing for the 2005 Team Florida and the USA Junior National Team in 2006. She accepted a full scholarship to play collegiate ball at University of Central Florida (UCF). During freshman season she set the NCAA Record for total digs in a single season. Melissa graduated from UCF where she majored in Interdisciplinary Studies and minored in Coaching and Communications. Now, Melissa is the Head Coach of the 16-Red team and Director for Rush Premier Volleyball. Prior to joining Rush, she coached at OVA for three seasons and was the Head Coach for both boys and girls West Orange High School Volleyball.
We are a member club of the Florida Region of USA Volleyball. As a player you may stop any unwanted contact from a club representative by simply asking (either verbally or in writing) that all contact cease. Any player believing a club representative of any Florida Region volleyball club has been intimidating, harassing, or acted inappropriately in any manner of contact or recruiting should contact the Florida Region office at (352) 742-0080.

Our Rush Volleyball has a track record of helping players of all ages reach their potential by using their volleyball skills to help them earn scholarship and entrance into colleges around the country. You can enroll at Rush Premier Sports on a full-time or weekly basis, or join one of our Indoor Club Team. We offer Beach and Indoor Programs with boarding or non-boarding options year-round. Full-time and weekly programs are available Monday through Saturday for all ages and levels. Let us help you get into college.
